# What are the risks to data subjects and how are they mitigated?

#NotMe understands the risks that come with data collection and processing. #NotMe’s solution’s development process was created to focus on security and privacy at all times. Our #NotMe’s team always takes the necessary steps to mitigate the risks and took into account the best practices throughout the whole development of #NotMe. Contractual requirements are agreed between #NotMe and our clients to address security and confidentiality expectations.

Data held by our clients should be held securely in accordance with the EU Data Handling Rules (or similar national rules) including access control, storage and security requirements and applicable retention rules.
